My mom's cooler than your mom...

(smile)

Ever since I was little I remember my mom making snow sculptures and the local newspaper would come take a picture and put it in the paper. I think that is why I enjoy playing in the snow—I grew up learning to love it.

Isn't that cool! She used spray paint to accent it. Brother and Sister were amazed until later that day when it warmed up and the head fell off...

I remember at my birthday parties we would play fox and geese because it was in the winter when we would get some deep snow.

"Fox and Geese?" you ask.

You make trails in the snow—like a maze—and one person is the fox and the fox tries to get the geese (the rest of the players) and put them in prison (a big area flattened out in the middle of the snow trails). I remember snow getting so deep that the snow came up to my waist! I was 7 or 8 mind you, but still, that was deep! We used to get snow drifts so high that school would be cancelled because the buses couldn't make it through the drifts. Crazy! I haven't seen snow like that until recently. You've all seen the wonderful picture Marc took of me out in the amazing 2 feet of snow, right?

Holy cool. It took a moment for me to believe that that was actually a snow sculpture. I see where your talent originated.

Your mom is cooler than mine, that's why we adopted her and call her "Auntie"(said with a British accent).
