Blossoming all Around Me...

I love it here.

There are beautiful views and mature trees everywhere.

Even some in my own yard.

Fruit trees to boot!

The cherry tree in the back yard is full of blossoms and I just couldn't resist taking some practice pictures.

But not only are the trees blossoming but our children are too.

I am continuously amazed at all the things they are doing and learning.

Brother went on his own, again, tonight to his Young Men's activity (boys between the ages of 12 and 18 have an organized group for activities, scouts and service in the LDS church). He was so happy when he came home last week to tell us that for the combined activity with the Young Women of the same age they made movies, popcorn and had treats. And tonight when I asked him what he did with the Young Men he answered, "Oh, we chit-chatted," with a HUGE grin on his face. He's really enjoying growing up.

Sister's teacher continues to send home notes of praise about her reading, emerging math skills, and her conduct in inclusion. She has done so well and is so happy when she gets home. I have not even had to force Marc to hang the hammock just yet as she has been able to calm herself in other ways on her own. She had a loose tooth and was brave enough to pull it out all by herself—she pulled it on the bus and the bus driver was quite proud of her accomplishment. You can see her empty space in the picture below.

Baby has been saying some new words: Marc (Mawk), Brighton (Byton), Rachael (Rado), Avery (Avee), house (ows), milk (miwk), and she has added a lot more emphasis to her infamous babble. She is so fun and really enjoys the back yard. And for the first time tonight she walked down the stairs by holding onto the railing without my help! Yay! Huge success there.

I cannot express how grateful I am for all the miracles that have happened and continue to happen in our life since we made the decision to completely uproot our lives and move to a new home and town. I feel so blessed to see all that people who have known us did for our little family and now those who are just now getting to know us and what they want to do for our little family.

My faith has blossomed and so has my testimony.

I LOVE blossoms!
