When we're helping we're happy...

I had a crazy day yesterday (I will write about that later) and wasn't home much because of running kids around and whatever. Anyway, while I was gone getting 13 to Golf try-outs, and his play and stage make-up, Marc was home planting our two trees we bought on Saturday. 9 wanted to help he said, so when I came home I say him helping his dad out and had to take pictures. I usually try to warn 9 that I am going to take his picture so that he doesn't fall apart. But, the part that made me laugh was his answer to my question of being able to take his picture, he said, "Ya, and put it on our blog!" So here it is. 9 helping his daddy plant the trees.

He is so proud helping his daddy.

Then to top it off, this morning before school, he had to go out and admire "the beautiful trees." He was so proud I just had to take another picture.

I love that last photo, priceless!
I can't believe how tall he is now, he was so little when we moved in!!
I will never forget when I was teaching a lesson in church and I asked "what would you do if you found a wallet at school?" and he raised his hand and said " I would buy me a horse" LOL! Love him!!!

My kids are the same. They feel so good when they have helped and they can see what they have done. Well when you get a chance call me at my mom's or come by!!

Rachel, I can't believe what you said on my blog about being self-absorbed! You're silly. A better way of putting it would be that you are BUSY taking care of your wonderful family, not to mention growing a new life! Unfortunately, there just isn't time in this life to adequately love everyone the ways we would like to!

I loved watching him help his dad. Out of all of his difficulties I enjoyed watching a father son normal moment, where all was right. I can't convey this how I want to, sorry. I hope you get it though.
