Well, yesterday 9 decided that he would be a little rebellious or independent, whatever you want to call it, and instead of staying on the block to ride bikes with his friend they decided to take off about a mile up a street to the train tracks! Ya, each parent thought that our kid was at the other house so when we figured out that they were missing and had been for probably 30 minutes, at least, I began to panic.
I got in my car to hunt for 9 and his 2 friends that were with him. So as I approach the area that is all right at the railroad crossing, canal, and huge as a house sand and rock hills and saw three abandoned bikes I began to panic. Hello, could they be more in danger! Aaah! Anyway, I saw the three kids climbing one of the large hills and I screamed at them to come down, I was relieved/freaked out! Well, I made 9 get in the car and I put his bike in the trunk of the car and the whole way home he was apologizing and crying and very upset, he knew he had done wrong.
I kept asking him whose idea it was to go down there because I was trying to figure out what I needed to talk to him about to keep something like this from happening in the future. He kept saying it was his friend's idea, but I just wanted to make sure he wasn't just saying that to keep from himself being in trouble.
Later I quizzed him again and he said, "It was so-and-so's idea." I said "He wasn't even there, are you lying to me?" 9 quickly said, "Oh, I know... it was Satan's idea!"

ADORABLE!
Those kind of things always get the blood flowing. That was a cute answer he gave- and smart.

Good call. I might use that one sometime,
That is HILARIOUS!
That is a very clever answer! I'm sure that led the conversation in a whole different direction!
Ahhh, very scary! I think Satan needs to go to timeout for a very long time though!!!
