Ya, you read right! Snow! We made it in on time. Then all flights after ours were cancelled or delayed because of the weather here, so we were lucky.
Nothing big to report yet. Just too cold to walk anywhere and I can't believe how complicated it is to order in pizza around here... long story. Tomorrow will be a better day and I will have more to report.
Oh, and just FYI---I found 9's shoes before I left. Apparently under my bed is a garbage can!!! He was one happy camper. When I showed them to him he just gave a sheepish smile--like "oh, ya, that's where I hid them when I was mad at them..." (smile)

Glad you found the shoes! But, snow! Oh man...at least you landed safely and all is well. I would really like to hear the pizza story one day as well. Have a blast!
I remember DC being a very complicated town, A lot of work to do everything, but very awesome!!! When I was there it was so hot I almost melted... Cold sounds worse though:) Hope you brought warm clothes, the sites there are amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like, I am so glad you, like, made it before all the other flights were like, grounded! Have fun in DC and if you see Obama, tell him I think he fibs (with all due respect!).
