Are you serious? Aaaaahhh! I really don't want to deal with this, but, the blood test says I have to. I really don't know what this entails, as I am still waiting for the instructions from the dietician they have referred me to. I am hoping that someone out there can just reassure me that it is nothing more than a change in diet and checking my glucose levels all the time. I am trying not to freak out over here. Aaaaahh!

My sister-in-law currently has it. For her it is just a change in diet and checking levels. She has been sick most of her pregnancy and it has helped with that and it has helped her maintain weight and not gain too much. All just since she changed her diet. Good luck!
OK. That is actually from Suzy
Ahh Not fun, I don't know much about it, but that it can cause your baby to be too big. Good Luck!!!
They thought I was with Jeb, but it turns out I was only boarderline. So, I was spared. However they told me if I had it, it would mean they would check me more carefully and perhaps not have me go full term. From what I have heard, one with it, rarely goes full term. So, that is something to think about. Too, I don't think it's too bad. I know they had me take a second test, and that test is what said i was only boarder line. That test, they had me eat 3,000 calories a day- that was kind of fun!
My sister had this with her pregnancy and everything turned out fine. They took her baby sooner because he was growing faster, I guess with that the baby gets bigger sooner...I don't know. You will be fine! Our family pic didn't turn out as good as I wanted but I will post the ones of Ryder here soon.
