Egg Race, Opposite Missions, Big Hamburger, Rocking Horse, Hair Color, Match friends, Blessings, Mother's Day FX Seminar—longest blog title!

OK, so many things to catch up on!! But, first, I must start with the egg race video from our Easter Party. Oh, my word, this is seriously one of the funniest videos ever!!! (I didn't have it before when I posted at Easter because my brother is the one who recorded it.) We decided that instead of racing with the egg on the spoon we would put it between our knees and try to race without it dropping. I guess I was really determined to win_but, gee wiz maybe I should have worried about what I looked like. Then at the end of the video you'll see that 9 has joined in the race and he has come up with his own way to race with the egg—we decided that he could keep that egg...

Enjoy the clip and then continue to read on below.

Hope you enjoyed that at mine and 9's expense!! :)

OK, so one day I had two missionaries show up at my door, one tall and one short. Anyway, I was wondering why they would be stopping at my house in the middle of the day so I started small talk as the stood at my doorstep and then finally the short one, whom I found out later was Elder Salinas, asked me if I had a son who was serving in Rancagua, Chile on his mission. To save the nephew explanation I answered, "yes" and he went onto explain that he is from Rancagua Chile and is serving his mission here in Santaquin. He and Bryan are serving opposite missions. He thought it would be fun to get a picture of him with all of us so that he could later show it to Bryan when he goes back to Rancagua in two months... So here are all of us with Elder Salinas. 3 and 9 weren't too happy about taking the picture but, at least they are there!

We had a barbeque with my family on a random Thursday and I just had to take a picture of my brother's humongous hamburger!!!

My dad wanted to ride along with 3 on here favorite horse—too cute!

My sister, Kirsten gave me the honor of giving her her first ever full hair color. We went and picked out the color together and all that, then came home and I colored, cut, and styled her hair. It was a lot of fun—and best of all— she liked it!

On the day that I did my solos for the Joseph Smith the Prophet presentation, 17 asked her friend to come with her (we will call him 6foot7), they just happened to wear the same colors so I just had to take a picture, and of course 9 had to join in.

The weekend of the Joseph Smith The Prophet performance, I had a REALLY bad cold. I asked for a healing blessing and, WOW, do I have renewed faith in the power of the Priesthood!! Awesome! I was able to sing my solo at both performances with success. The spirit was so strong at that program it was really astounding!!! I can't even find words to express the power of the spirit that was in that chapel! Beautiful!!

And for Mother's Day, Marc made me his famous German Pancake!! Mmmm! And of course I woke up to a wonderful sign that 13 had made for me. All the kids made me cute cards and memorable letters—and Marc also "bought" me some maternity clothes (OK, I bought them and told them they were from him...) It was a GREAT Mother's Day!

And last, but absolutely not least, the First Ever Utah Fragile X Seminar!! (That I was in charge of.) Wew! I am glad it is over—it was a huge undertaking for me. I was sad that we only had 4o people in attendance, but the great thing is, the people who were there were so incredibly impressed that they just kept raving on and on about it. I really think that we have finally started the ball rolling. I think I have people jumping on the bandwagon, and ready and willing to help spread the word!! So even though there was not a huge attendance, it was a huge success! I had my brother (Gallery Image Photography) take pictures of the seminar for our newsletter and for National.

Going to dinner afterward with our featured speakers, Mouse and Tracy. (They were such great presenters and a lot of fun to be with! We went to Porter's Place Steakhouse!! It was so much fun!)

OK, That's it. Hope you had fun reading and viewing. (Come on, scroll back up... you know you want to watch the egg race again!!!)

Well, my comment is going to be rather long, but I wanted to say....I just came across your blog and wow...what a fun family you have. I love the pics of your kids and the funny videos and just everything. Secondly, I wanted to thank you for the hard work you put into the FX seminar. It was really great. My mom and I had a great time. I was really impressed with all the educators and therapists that were there. I was really wishing the teachers and groups that deal with my kids would have come and known about it. Now I know that for next time to let them know. I was also surprised at how many parents didn't come. Oh well. It was great. You have my contact info so if there is anything that I can do to help with the Utah group, I would love to get involved. The speakers were amazing. I wanted to ask them to please come and tell my daughters teachers a few words...if ya know what I mean. Please come home with me Mouse and Tracy.
I also wanted to say, Im interested in getting that FX video from the seminar. I know you said you were going to get the info out on it? I would love one.
Well, I wish I would have formerly met you at the seminar. It was kinda chaotic but Im sure we will meet again. Thanks again Racheal
